Showcasing Your Commitment to Quality

Based on comprehensive quality standards, the Certified Charter Schools Program was developed with input from over 300 charter school leaders. Although membership to the Association is voluntary, your school’s certification helps ensure the stability, success, and longevity of your school while showcasing your quality of standards to parents, teachers, and students.

The Certified Charter School Cycle:

Step One: Commit.  Sign the movement-generated Quality Standards to become a member of the Association
Step Two: Choose.  Work with the Association’s Quality Team to choose a third-party review that fits your needs
Step Three: Site Visit.  Host a site visit by a third-party review team and implement your school’s action plan
Step Four: Document.  Complete your third-party review and document your accomplishment by submitting the report to the Association
Step Five: Certification.  Congratulations, certification marks your continuous improvement through a cycle of self study and external review
