Description:
Berliner and Associates, Architecture, has designed Charter Schools for the last seven years working to find building solutions that support our clients program and mission. Working within the tight budgets and schedules of Charter School operators our goal is to maximize the impact of every construction dollar to create the best learning environment for students, faculty and staff. We believe small learning communities are instrumental in Charter Schools success and we have designed several schools that support cohesive small learning communities. We have experience designing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning spaces, configuring classrooms that support the unique and diverse requirements of these spaces. We have designed schools following both the CHPS and LEED for Schools sustainable design criteria. Through careful listening and collaboration with the project team we believe the architecture of a school will help Charters realize their mission.
